The club took the lead in organizing the Mock Republican Convention, spon- sored an essay writing contest, and also brought speakers to the campus, and made prepar- ations For its participation in the i968 political campaign. The year's activities included the installation ot a PTK chapter at Big Bend Community College, the initiation of over thirty new members, the inauguration ot a campus speaker program and participation in the regional and national conventions. PTK initiates thirty new membeis.
