Trudgeon History Michigan State University THE COMPUTER AGE The computer age came to GHS during the school year through a generous grant of $16,000 from the Weyer- haeuser Corporation. Twelve micro computers were installed in Mr. Smith's classroom during the sum- mer of '82. When the school year began students eagerly gathered around the electronic marvels to learn the techniques and basic language of the TRS80 computer. Mr. Smith has been busy learning and teach- ing new computer skills to students and teaching staff alike. Elementary school children have even been anxious to stay after school to work in the high school computer lab. By the time they arrive at GHS they may find computers in all of the classrooms. ( Mrs.Lemmen's Spanish class breaking pinatas Coach Don Ferguson brought honor to GHS when he was named,for the second year in a row, Regional Coach of the Year in Wrestling. A member of the Middle School teaching staff, Coach Ferguson also assists as difensive coach for the high school Varsity Football team. Faculty 11
