Grayling School Board This year the main concern of the school board, aside from the general business, has been the construction of the new elementary school building and the remodeling of the old building to accommodate the expansion of department areas and the installation of new equipment. Dedication This yearbook is dedicated to Mr. Frank Bond, our beloved former Superintendent and teacher, who devoted much of his time to the educational program of our school. He served for thirty years in the Grayling Public Schools. After his resignation last spring, he became our County Superintendent of Schools on July 1, 1963. He has been our high school principal, super- intendent, student council advisor, tournament man- ager, County School Commissioner for five years and coach for one year, in addition to teaching chemistry, physics, biology, and general science. In 1955, while Mr. Bond was superintendent, he had the supervision of the construction of our present gymnasium. The yearbook staff on behalf of all his former students wish to thank Mr. Bond for his under- standing and help during his many faithful years of service to our school. 2

Administration MR. JOSEPH STRIPE, Superintendent In addition to his many adminis- trative duties this year, we find Mr. Stripe also involved in the planning and supervising of the construction of the new twenty room elementary school building and in the remodeling of our present building. MR. ELMER FENTON, Principal Mr. Fenton, besides being principal, super- vises three study halls this year. He is eagerly looking forward to the future when there will be more rooms for his high school teachers and students. 4
