Student Librarians On November 1, 1961, the librarians joined the Student Librarians Assistants' Association of Michigan (S.L.A.A.M.). They elected as their officers: Nancy Nelson, President; Elaine Bancroft, Vice-President; Jill Jones, Treasurer; Carolynn Halstead, Secretary. The library serves the faculty and approx- imately 350 high school students. Pictured above is Patricia Winslow who began her duties at the beginning of the second semester. She works in the library during the seventh hour.
