The thirteen girls made two radio appearances; at Gay- lord and Houghton Lake. A lot of credit should be given to the eight girls who ran a close race with the others. FRONT ROW: Linda Failing, Judy Sorenson CLASS PROPHECY It is now June 6, 1975 and having just received $1, 000, 000 from John B. Kepton we Barbara Fenton and Mary Jane Wakeley are taking a trip around the world to locate our former classmates. First we take a look around Grayling and we see Jim Parkinson and Gary Worden coaching at G.H.S. Joe Lennert owns and operates Grayling Radio Station G. W.S. P. Now we travel to Traverse City where we will take a plane for Willow Run in Detroit. While in Traverse City we find Bob Lovely working as an attendant at the State Hospital. Detroit is our next stop and the first person we see is Gary Parkinson who owns and runs a Didee Wash. Also we find Peggy LaGrow running the Big Bear Super Markets with Don Thompson the head of the Meat Department. While in the vicinity we drop in at the U. of M. to see Paul Berry the head of the math department there, and also to see Jean Roberts who is a Chief Home Economist. After a 5 hour flight we are in New York where we find Hans Andrews the Editor of the New York Daily Times and Kay Pettengill as his private secretary, Bob Carlson is teaching ballet at Arthur Murray's School of Dance. We buy a book Magazine and find Alicia Hausmann's picture on the cover. We turn on the TV set in our room and who should we see but Shirley Harney playing Six Gun Shirley in a Western movie. Another station carries Marlene Vincent billed as Vicious Vince in a wrestling match. Tom Little is across the street from our hotel record- ing another hit tune for R. C. A. We set sail on the U.S. Constitution for Switzerland and some winter sports. When we arrive we are told that Fran Cady has just won the Olympic Ski Champion- ship for the U.S. A. From Switzerland we go to India where we find Karen Rasmussen teaching the native girls How To Capture The Man Of Their Choice. Next stop is Africa where Ella Mae Cook is busily teaching the natives her refined, gentle ways. We stop off at Hawaii and see Andrea Brown who is busily baby-sitting with her own 12 children. Next stop is Nome, Alaska where we see Melvin Luter teaching the Eskimos to play football. We stop off at Seattle and have lunch with Chuck Keway who owns a large Cog- ging Company. At Hollywood we find Dorothy and Dolores Kolka posing as the Toni Twins, and Ed Holtcamp leading the former Lawrence Welk Orchestra. In Reno, Nevada we find Joan Cinciala getting a divorce from her 5th husband and Steve Jorgenson still trying to marry a millionaire.
