Goss, Engineer of Grayling High School for the past seventeen years, passed away suddenly Friday morning, February 18, 1955. Oscar, as he was familiarly known to everyone, was always friendly, cooperative and ready to lend a helping and willing hand. The spotless condition of the building was a tribute to his industry. He entered the employ of the Grayling Board of Edu- cation on February 15, 19 38. He saw the graduation of his two sons and daughter, Leslie, class of 1947; John, class of 19 51; and Phyllis, class of 19 54 from Grayling High School. Elaine of the 10th Grade and Dean in the First Grade of St. Mary's are still in school.
