His genuine sense of humor and genial person- ality have proved to be inval- uable in extra-curricular activ- ities and in the classroom. The first was a musical program present- ed by the band and chorus, under the direc- tion of Mr. Leroy Rowley and Miss Felicia Cash, and the second was a play given by the dramatic and public speaking classes. hanlcs for tireless aid and patience. A. bulletins are Mrs. C. D. Denham Shannon Kelly, June Todd, Mr. J. A. Woodward. ln its twenty-eighth year, the Parent Teacher Association present- ed six programs, the first entitled Building for Maturity in a Democ- racy. At other meetings, Miss Lois Edinger talked on T.V., an Asset or Liability in Citizenship Train- ing? Dr. Elizabeth Welch spoke on Sunday's Child, and Dr. Robert C. Hanes gave a discussion on sec- ondary education in Winston-Sa- lem.
