V ' flfff Dwlakedmf .7!le Lnior C6155 af ,. 52 ,OJ The first part of our present school building was built in l902 and to cope with the growth in attendance the second part of the building was built ln 1926 Since that time there has been added a grand auditorium and gym, finished in 1954 Not only that but the consolidation of sur rounding districts has made it necessary to have three modern school bus class of 'k6 is ready to add its little bit of concrete To these very buildings described above, every morning at a quarter of nine come approximately hoo students Ve work and play and slave five days a week Every morning we listen attentively to the Scripture and pledge alleziance to the flag We go to classes every H5 minutes to try to gain some useful knowledge dith only five minutes between classes we quench our thirst for talking and general foolishness Just before noon we gracefully pass out and do gentle exercises to limber up and to work up an appet1te Two days a week we go to Band where we try to blow our brains out lhen the shrill note of the lhlltl0 is heard we run slowly hlme eat our parents out of house and home. After digesting our noon meal we skip merrily back to school again In the afternoon we toil throuvh three more periods With the last jingling of the bell for the day we grab our coats and run downstairs with the teachers screaming bloody murder But all in all, ws, the Seniors, have enjoyed our school days and are sorry to leave de a e vlad to print this annual to help us remember the happy days of our school years And as our last salute we s1ng-- So here s to Gravette High School Faithful and true Here's to our banner Of orange and black So here's to Alma Mater Now and forever Singing the victory song of Gravette High' ll ses.
