Here in the Senior Class of forty-eight Are many varieties of persons That range from housewives and delegates To commedians, musicians, and parsons. Eileen Burnett is one of our lucky girls, Whose ambition is to be a good baker. We know that Jimmie likes her blond curls Because she will soon be his homemaker. Our play-boy is Bob Boomershine, Who has a middle name of nSubtle.' 0ver him all the girls seem to pine, And that is why he gets into trouble. Patsy Heller always seems to have a companion which we have tried twelve years to overlook. It is strange that she does not abandon This constant friend that we call a book. Kay Pombles ls our star concert singer, Who is applauded for her drawn-out sneeze. She is a very interesting entertainer, Especially with those she likes to tease. Our A-1 athlete is James Buehnerg Through basketball he has gained fame. On the floor no man could be keener, Because he can score enough to win any game. Wilma Wilson, voted student of knowledge, Has a likable and friendly disposition. to college, ambition. As there is a gossip in every class, We introduce to you Charlotte Hayes Also famed for amusing the mass, She brings gladness to all our days. is needed, To you, we now point out Tommy Sloan. As the clown of the class he has succeeded, No better Joker will ever be known. Our card shark is Janet Slone, Who never gets a poor deal. As she never has to repay a loan, Her artistry she will never reveal Jo Ann Eikenberry is our girl of leisure. Though driving a car is her pastime favorite, She plays her piano for our pleasure, And she writes Jokes for our delight. If your temper matches your hair, Peggy Swartz is quite a gal. For playing the piano she has a flare And we know she could be a good pal. If you should ever care for a new hobby, Look up quiet, versatile Gordon Ray Jones. You will probably find him in a hotel lobby, Where you can reach him by one of his telephones. If through a man's stomach is the way to his heart, Juanita 0'Ban1on will be able to catch the town's prize. She can bake ples, cakes, and her own special tart-- So beware boys, she'll snag you before you get wise. Irma Duncil is the tall, slender girl in our class. She ls never seen without a smile or word of cheer. Although as an artist or a poet she could easily pass, .A She hopes to become a steno at the end of the year. Q?
