The 1958 track team had a tremendous season by placing fourth in the state meet, The team, coached by Mirl Rosendale, was led by its versatile seniors. Many school records were broken, including the 880 yard relay, the medley relay, the 220 yard dash, and the 440 yard dash. The 1959 season looks promising although graduation losses were heavy. G. Graduation losses weren't heavy so the Warriors will be expected to rise this season. The team was honored to place center fielder Jerry Middlebrook on the All-Conference Team.
