SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Yesterday, January 50, 1951 I found myself think- ing of my school days in Grapeland High School and wondering what my former classmates were doing. I went to a fortune teller who drew forth a crystal ball and revealed to me the following facts: Thelma Anderson after an unhappy love affair has sailed to India as a missionary. Charles Askew is coaching football at Notre Dame. The move pro- ducer, William Lee Colkin is making arrangements for the production of a movie about Charles' life to be called nKnutc Charles Askewn. At this same college we find Uthe biggest man on the teamn, Shirley Smith. Tom Turner Beazley is employed as strong man in a large circus. He is also working hard training fleas. Thelma Bradshaw is teaching dramatics in a large school system. As yet she is unmarried but it is rumored that a certain Crockett lad holds a warm place in her heart. Billy Brown is touring the country teaching the art of flattery to school children Carl Bridges with his swing band is now touring Europe. When Carl gets back he can say his band has played before the crown heads of Europe and the bald heads of America Orland Bryson has just completed his new book HHow To Be Popular ln ten Easy Lessons' Mildred Cheatham has risen to great heights as a trapeze performer on Coney Island William Clark is new the owner of a large grocery store and market He is teach ing his younge t son to be a meat cutter so he can follow in papafs footsteps George Crawford is now fiddler on the UGrand Ole Opery program Willie Mae Cutler is now a seamstress for Iva Dell Mus1ck's large dress shop in New York JoAnn Dailey, thought by some to be the greatest woman in political af fairs, is touring the country lecturing and charging tvo cents admission to every lecture George Edward Darsey has organized a rhythm.band and his favorite expression is Boy! His band really swings it as they have an experienced drummer, Jean Howard Loye Mae Denson is Miss America this year Billy Earl Dickerson is a two gun sheriff near the border He also sells life insurance Grady Edge, the danc ing expert, is now tap dancing on Broadway F . Guice is a traveling saleslady in Africa She and her husband sell the natives soap and formal cloth es Jolene Hamilton is conducting a school in which people are taught the correct way to laugh and how to cultivate the voice, Helen Ham is traveling N O , I ll . o .
