C751 JUNIOR AND SENIOR PROM - 1964 The Junior and Senior Prom was held April 4 in the beautiful Wabash College Ballroom in Crawfordsville. The theme, Moonlight and Roses, was carried out in the lovely decorations, programs, and favors. At 7:30 p. m., a delicious four-course meal was served to the juniors, seniors, their guests, and faculty members with their husbands and wives. The long banquet tables were beautifully ap- pointed with bouquets of long-stemmed pink roses, center-pieces of carnations, and tall lighted tapers. Scented rose pink pins were given as favors. Following the dinner, John Deck, junior class president, welcomed the seniors and guests, his committees and sponsors, Mr. William Wil- son and Mrs. Dorothy Sommerville. Tom Wethington, senior class president, gave the response. Members of the junior class then gave a short program in honor of the seniors. Dancing began at 8:30 p. m. to the music of the Cavemen of Wabash. A setting for pic- ture taking during the evening was a small garden scene. A large white arch laced with greenery and white and red carnations enclosed a quaint love seat, Beside the arch to the right was a rock garden fountain. Above the arch was a silver moon. Carnations and roses were laced in the picket fence extending from each side of the arch. Punch and cookies were served during the evemng. At mid-night, the prom ended, but all will hold in memory the sounds of joy and laughter of that night. 4763 immvv ' ' 1 -- V y.wzsl-.ang-r w Q. I ATHLETICS it tttt CUACHES fVlr. Vince Myer, Nlr.
