I9 7 THgEggggBLAgQKBOAtgRD M g ' MR. JOHN SPOHR, TRUSTEE OF JACKSON TOWNSHIP The graduating class of 1956, of the Granville Wells High School, dedicates this annual to Mr. john Spohr, Trustee of Jackson Township. W'e recognize that we will be the first class to receive our diplomas in this new build- ing. This fact alone might have been a sufficient motive for our action. The consideration for this honor was based upon actions of the recipient far more broader than this one, let us say, selfish reason. To bring a building program such as we have here in Jackson Township to a success- ful completion required strong leadership and business ability. Mr. Spohr has demonstrat- ed these qualities and has erected a plant that fills our need at probably the lowest cost possible. We recognize that he has put into this venture many hours of work, worry, and thought for which he has not received enough material compensation. We know that this reward is greater, in personal satisfaction, in the knowlege that the children of this commu- nity have good facilities to obtain an education. We, the Seniors, with your permission, wish to broaden this dedication to include all students, and all the citizens of our township. We extend our appreciation and good will to you and your advisory board. CLASS OF 1956 56
