Senior class olllcers, left to right: I,yni1-Ioerrcs, Treasurer: Charon Cltudv, Secretary: Carl Kupersinith, Vice-Presidentg and Iohn Rousseau, President. Seniors: quiet times and serious moments napa As graduation draws near students are measured for their caps and gowns. 82 The Class of '62 has followed the tradition of previous senior classes in being student leaders. The class has set an example of loyalty and hard work for their successors to follow. They showed this by winning the March of Dimes contest this winter. This year has been a very busy one for the seniors. On November 1, having been handi- capped by less than two months of preparation, the class held their Senior Ball, Canadian Sun- set. One of the final projects ofthe class of '62 was the senior class play, Deadly Ernest. Many hours of work were spent in preparing forit and it was an experience never to be forgotten by the seniors who participated. Lavender and white have been chosen as the class colors. The class flower is thegardenia and the class song is Memories Are Made of This. The seniors are planning to enter various types of work, schools, and careers upon their graduation on june 7, and we hope they will take with them their class motto, Out of school life into life's school.

,ae .KN W' ak STUDENTS To the students at Granville, school meansmore than just going to classes each day for four years. Every year brings celebrations, class projects, and traditions which add to the classroom aspect of student life and also bring us closer to our mostimportant goal, grad- uation. As freshmen we experience for the first time student government in action. We begin to realize thatwe will have to set the examples for future classes to follow. In our sophomore year we are into the swing of things and look forward to celebrations such as pigtailday when we can display our cleverness and originality and outdo those upperclassmen. Our junior year introduces some of the aspects of deeper learning. We are faced with our first major term paper and the library becomes one of our closest friends. Senior year is one of mixed emotions. lreparing for D graduation, our thoughts are mostly ofventuring into the world as adults but walking down the aisle we will look back on these eventful years and realize that we will miss this type of life we have grown so accustom- ed to.
