It is their duty to make decisions along various lines in regard to activities, social and economic, as well as, practicing the functions of a democratic lbrm of government. We are proud of our Student Council, which is supervised by Mr. Michaels. Oneol'thisyear's worthwhile projects is the relreshment stand, which we hope will do a great deal in financing a new Foreign Exchange Student in 1962-1963.

Scholarship brings national honors The Nalional Music Honor Society carefully chooses its members on their music ability. This so- ciety tries to encourage the students to appreciate and take part in music appreciation in school, church, or community affairs. The greatest honor which any student at Granville can attain is to be chosen a member ofthe Falcon Chapter of the National Honor Society. Selection for this group is based on leadership, scholarship, and service. 27
