This year has proved to be another successful milestone in our high school iourney. Our class was well represented in Thespians, Y-Teens, Band, and Chorus. We had able athletes in football and basketball, both on the Varsity and the Reserve squads. We also had 'four girls as cheerleaders and one as a maiorette. Our homecoming float won second prize with the theme, Voting. The class of '54 seemed to do quite well for itself in good old G.H.S. this year. We had one more member initiated into Thespians and we were well represented in Y-Teens, Band, and Chorus. We also had many Juniors playing on the football and basketball teams. Two of our girls were maiorettes and three were cheerleaders. One of the big events of our school year was our play, lt Happened One Night, directed by Mr. Anson. lt was a big success. The Junior-Senior banquet hasn't been held yet, but the class has no doubt of its success. We are grateful for the helpfulness and co-operation of our advisors, Miss Miley and Mr. Anson.
