7ke S WL!! We, the Class of 1949, do hereby give our last will and testament. To the Juniors, we do bequeath the Sacred Study Hall on the third floor. To the Sophomores, we do will the prominence of being upperclassmen. To the Fresh- men, go the organizations, such as Hi-Y, Y-Teens, DNK, etc. And to the Iunior High, we leave our dear old GHS-treat it gently! Io-Ann Arter wills her long walks to school to Judy Hoffman. Marlene Borror wills her Y-Teen presidency to any brave junior girl. Jean Briggs wills her outside dates to anyone lucky enough to get them. john Brown wills his saddles to Lynn Atwell. Phyllis Carpenter wills her shorthand book back to Gregg. Dave Dimick wills a twenty-pound anchor to Big Schillf, Frank Gosnell wills jim White to the elephants. John Grant wills his beloved pipe back to Kaywoodie. Lou Hodges wills her freckles to the Krause twins-there are plenty for both. Florence Hollingworth wills her position as editor of the yearbook to some junior with lots of time. Jim Hood wills Texas back to Senator Claghorn. Dick Horton wills his love for the school, its teachers, studies, and activities to jimmy Hammond. Dick Ingle wills French back to the French. Dick Jester wills his race to school each morning to any heavy sleeper. Earl jones wills his athletic record to Ralph Young.
