Qmdaaldaw The Seniors of 1952 held their Commencement on May 29, at the High School auditorium. The theme was Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Preceding the exercises the graduates were honored at a banquet where they presented gifts to their advisor and principal. Following the banquet they met on the Elementary School steps in red and white caps and gowns and marched to the auditorium. The exercises were a memorable occasion for all of the graduates. The students received many scholastic honors and will be long remembered by the remaining student body. Our Classmate LEON HIGLEY, a Senior, was killed in a farm tractor accident May 3, 1952. We the students and faculty of the Grants- ville High School mourn with his other friends and his relatives at his passing. He was considerate and understanding.
