Williams, and the fine Faculty whose cooperative fellowship with stu- dents of Grantsville High makes our school one of which we can well be proud. They have eased our growing pains. They have given to us help and understanding when we have needed it. They have proved their worth in so many ways. They have not forgotten that they were once boys and girls. These are the ones whose hard work and personalities help make our high school days so unforgettable. The ones whose faults are most noticed and whose endeavors are often critcized. These are our Student Body Officers whom we can never repay in words for upholding the students rights to the best of their ability. These are the ones whom we now wish to thank for the fun-filled school year of 1951-52. Patricia Birdzell Vice President Annette Miller Secretary mir si ,i .itiifftliitfa 5fudenf61f uc!! The Student Council is composed of students who represent the Clubs, Classes, Organizations, and Student Body Officers. This group is the Board of Directors of our high school. They are in charge of student problems and entertainment. We extend our thanks to them for supervising and conducting assemblies, for organizing a Traveling Assembly to represent our school, for purchasing various student body equipment, and being largely responsible for many wonderful school dances and for helping promote a better understanding between faculty and students. To our High School, our dear Alma Mater, Let gladness the moments prolong. We are proud of our lads and our lasses. Of honors won in days gone by. So here's a cheer for our old High School, For our old High School, Our Grantsville High. Soon for us will our school days be ended, The dreams of youth that fade so fast. But we know that the heart oft will ponder On memories and scenes that are past. There are days that will long be remembered And friendships too that ne'er can die. So here's a cheer for our Old High School, For our old High School, Our Grantsville High. Chorus Here's to our classes, Here's to our lasses, Here's to the lads they adore. Here's to the Seniors so mighty, Juniors so fighty, Freshie and Sophomore. Let mirth ancl gladness Banish all sadness And as the days go by, You'll find us ready and steady Boosting for our Old High! The theme was Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Preceding the exercises the graduates were honored at a banquet where they presented gifts to their advisor and principal. Following the banquet they met on the Elementary School steps in red and white caps and gowns and marched to the auditorium. The exercises were a memorable occasion for all of the graduates. The students received many scholastic honors and will be long remembered by the remaining student body.
