We hear church mus1c and on a dlmly llghted altar we see a prlest For a moment we thlnk our eyes are betraylng us, but no, it 1S our old classmate, Johnny Mlchael Next, we f1nd ourselves in an art gallery gazing at a famous masterplece The distinqulshed artlst and her husband are watchln the on lookers Oh h of all things, it's Shirley Engle w1th arell Raileyl Why, what's th1s coming up? A country beauty shop with Vera Murphy's name on the door, and out in the field turkeys and chlckens galore belonging to whom? Hamill Glotfelty, her husband, of course Looking a little deeper 1nto the crystal ball and whom do we see but Jeanne Lohr closlng school for the day We won der 1f her gay mood was brought on by Johnny Keister's return Look what's coming next! There must be some power to prophecy as we see Vernon Miller as the Class of l9h9 predict be our own Janlce Jones By the moss laden trees we can tell we are nearlng North Carolina As we near a little wh1te cottage so fashionable in the South, we see none other than Helen Wilburn and her high school sweetheart Eugene Weimer Could it be they have recanf ly Wtied the knotqn As we wait at a traln crosslng for the train to pa s, we are wondering what the next scene will be We do not have t wonder long for the train is upon us and the engineer waves to His friendly smile betrays him, it's Everett Baker The traln is gone into the distance and the aromaci'ether reaches We see the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland This is a surprisel However, by the tw1nkle in her brown eyes we know the head nurse to be Virglnia Winebrenner, who is row giving orders to newcomers, and one of the newcomers 1 our old classmate Eleanor Weimer A few brlef moments pass and the scene changes to the Chicago World's Fair Whom do we see in the ring with the prize w1nning shorthorn beef but our old classmate, Bill Stan ton On the sideline stands his wife, Millie Bittinger, proudly beaming ed. Who is the gay, new bride with him? Why, it could only 0 Q 0 us. ' . . - s
