CLASS HISTORY We, the Class of 1951, entered the halls of Grantsville High School in l9L7 as enthusiastic Freshmen, knowing that would be the first class to graduate from the twelfth grade system Our class was divided into two groups with Miss Bor ror and Mr Grimm as our homeroom sponsors One outstanding event in our Freshman year was that of the operetta, 'Tulip Time,W presented by the music department of G H S On September 8, l9L8, we began to set our record as the s1lly Sophomores, and Mr Grim , with the patlence of Job, was agaln our homeroom sponsor The highlight of the year was the Prom given to the Seniors of l9A9 by our class With scarcely a trace of greeness left, we began our Jun ior year in September, l9L9, One highlight of the year was the play entitled 'Meet the Wifen we presented Th s was big success, we thought The long waited for honor of becomlng dignified Seniors room sponsor Dale Yommer was elected class president e play, WGrapes for D1nner,W which we presented, the many dances we attended, and most of all the Junior Senior Prom, made our Senior year the most outstanding in our eventful lives But with all of our memories of the past years we shall never for get our dear old Grantsville High School Even though we know that graduating from high school will mean endless sacrifices, we will face the future resolutely CLASS SONG KTune On the Mall P Class of fifty one tonight our hearts are light and ga We are brave, we are proud and we may, Hope for all a future with a pathway that is bright Where our goal we'll attain through our might Let us hear our voices ringing, Wwe are always ready,W Green and Gold, Green and Gold, lead us on!
