MK nf rw Strictly an outdoor man, Jesse Lof- fcr, athlctic director, has been with us for I2 years. Discharged from the Navy he became baseball coach and has held his present job for lil years. His jolm has many phases. He heads the physical cducation department and is consultant on coaching assignments. He makcs schcclulcs for games and hires of- ficials. Hc arranges for board, room and transportation on athlctic trips. Eligibility requirements arc administcred by him. A husband and father, Mr. Loffcr, is oricnted to thc woods. He likes to fish, hunt, camp and play golf. He prides him- self in his prime physical condition. Curriculum Director Athletic Director iQ Working to improve instructional methods and correlating the various sec- tions is Mr. Warren Cook, curriculum di- rector. He is in charge of freshman regis- tration and is head of the ticket squad. He began his teaching career in 1933 as a coachg he has since held the positions of principal and superintendent. Weekends find him retreating to a nearby mountain-top to enjoy his favorite sport of skiing. He is an ardent follower of all competitive sports.
