We sTarTed righT oTT by winning The P.T.A. mem- bership drive and having a member oT our class, June BarnharT, crowned FooTball Queen aT a rally held in The Rivoli TheaTre. Represenfafive ln February, we again emerged vicTorious by hav- ing our candidaTe, Nancy Leonard, crowned SweeT- hearT oT GranTs Pass High. May 3rd and 4Th were The daTes Tor The Senior Play, Good News. IT was a musical, a much diTTer- enT and more diTiiculT Type oT play Than has been Tried here beTore. Under The direcTion oT Howard Harrison, iT proved a big success. During The laTTer parT oT May, we had our annual Skip Day, wiTh everyone having a loT oT Tun. On June 8Th, The Tormal Senior BangueT was held aT The Elks Lodge, wiTh every one oT us having a wonderTul Time. The dinner was served by members oT The junior class. The HeaTer-Newman Memorial gym was The scene oT BaccalaureaTe on Sunday, June lOTh, Trom which we all leTT deeply inspired. The day we had been looking Torward To Tor many years Tinally arrived. On June l2Th we marched down The paTh oT rose covered arches To receive our diplomas and bid Tarewell To our dear old alma maTer.
