As our days at Grantham draw to a close, and we realize that we must le ave the old and familiar paths for the challenges of the new and unknown, we pa us e to reflect on the cherished memories of the past years. It is only now, as we approach graduation, that we begin to fully realize how much our parents, teachers, and classmates have influenced our lives. We begin to realize how much our school years have meant to us and how swiftly the y have passed. These were the years in which we lived and learned and worked and played, the years that were filled with our joys and sorrows, victories and defeats, good days and bad days, and the years that shaped our lives. In the 1963 GRANNAWAYNE, we have tri e d to capture some of the events that will soon be only me mori e s. May these pages be a link with the warm friendships and fellowships that we have sh are d here after our s chool days have b e co me a part ofthe distant past.
