C l as s Po e m SENIOR MEMORIES We, the Seniors of Grantham High, Remember now the years gone by. The past looks rosy as the end draws near, But of being forgotten, we have no fear. Though we're always pulling pranks, Our hearts are full of thanks For the firm foundation laid, Our basis for the future, and the many plans we've made. Nineteen-sixty is the year we'll recall As the one we enjoyed most of all. Some of the happiest moments we can relate Will be of school days and our dear classmates. Our colors are white, which signifies pure living, And green, which represents nature's kind giving. Our class flower, a white carnation, Makes each moment a cherished relation. We're seniors now. The end is near. We've waited so long for this final year. We'll leave you now, but we hate to go. We'll think of our school days when our spirits get low.
