Not only has he administered the necessary medical assistance but has always sacrificed his own personally needed time to converse with anyone who sought his aid. The personal interest and concern he has shown to everyone has created for him many loyal friends. l-le has also shown great unselfishness by giving so generously to the different churches, various community organizations and other wort.hwhile causes. Perhaps it is truer to say that it is rare to find in one person the vision to plan intelligently for the future 'and at the same time to interest his fellow-citizens in making the community a more permanently beautiful place in which to live. These qualities are exactly what we have found in him and for which we give him special recognition. 6

Qn Memoriam ,f I With the sudden and untimely death of Kenneth Earl Edwards on August l, 1959, the senior class lost one of its dearest members. His ready smile and witty comments made his presence known to everyone. Kenneth has often been in our thoughts this year and memories of him will linger through the years. It is known that he was influenced by a strong religious feeling and this lends com- fort to all of his closest friends. 8
