According to the Blue Mountain Eagle, this was the largest production to be put on in Grant Union's history. The actual presentation of Lil' Abner was on May 8, 10, and 11. The musical was very well attended with the last night being a sell-out. There were many comments about the musical, es- pecially about the characters. Several townspeople remarked on how professional it was done even with a small school to choose from. The total cast consisted of 82 people plus Mr. Wiggins, Mrs. Wiggins, and Mrs. Winnett. There were also several make- up people that the cast could not have done without. The cast worked many long hours getting the musical ready for public view- ing. All in all, Mr. Wiggins, the director, was very pleased with the performance and is looking forward to next year with anti- cipation.
