FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPT Mr. Tolman German I class studies a dialog. Kasefondue tastes great! Below: Spanish class. Mr. Tolman is new at Grant Union this year. He teaches Spanish I II, German I II, English II, and coaches football and wrestling. He is also advisor to the Annual Staff. Highlighting the year for the Spanish and German classes was the dinner they cooked. Spanish class had enchiladas and taco casserole; German II had Kohlroulade and Kasekuchen. 9

FINE ARTS Mr. Roberts teaches art in many forms: painting, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, drawing. He also instructs modern novel and coaches track. One of his favorite hobbies out of school is fly-tying and fishing. One of the funnest projects this year was the creation shown at the bottom of this page. ENGLISH Mr. Gene Winnett teachers Mirrors of Man, which is a College Prep course for those students going on to school after graduation, and Freshman English. He is also athletic director and coaches football and golf.
