DEDICATION In this our Bicentennial year, we take pride in honoring our country and the many men and women who have given their lives that America might be. American citizenship is our most priceless possession. We believe in the constitutional form of government of the United States of America which guarantees us the right to worship God as we choose and as citizens, equal opportunity, and equal educational rights. Let us cherish this creed always and never forget those that have made the supreme sacrifice in order that we may live in the “Land of the Free and the home of the Brave.” Congratulations to Cindy Kowing, Oregon State winner of the American Legion Essay Contest, 1976.
