Darrel Simmons was picked by The Oregonian for first team All-State. He and Steve Jolley were team captains. Darrel was named All-Conference guard on offense; Chuck Burril. halfback on offense: Ron Her, guard; and Steve Jolley as defensive halfback. Honorable Mention for All-Conference went to John Huffman, fullback; Mark Labhart, end; Mike Boethin, linebacker; Dale Southwick, quarterback; Ken Stevens, defensive end;and Frank Stinnett, tackle on offense. The Coaches voted Steve Jolley and Moose Simmons as outstanding team players. The team selected Chuck Burril as outstanding back, Frank Stinnett, outstanding linesman; and Fritz Phillips, most inspirational player.
