Our Superintendent Speaks. . . Public education has been founded on the belief that all individ- uals can be improved, and as we improve individuals so we improve society. In consideration of these beliefs it would be fallacious not to consider that societies perpetuate themselves by the contributions of those who have passed before them. In accepting these contributions it is our responsibility in turn to sow so that those who follow might harvest. I would, therefore, challenge each of you to evaluate your contribution to society not from what you reap, but from what you sow.
