PROPHECY Dear Marie: The funniest thing happened the other night, I was sitting around in my mansion, old GUHS, and who should show up but our class of 56 . They figured this was the best place to have a reunion. Of course, I was in my usual levis and sweat shirt tinkering around in my brewery and having a high old time. The first arrival was Roy Bearden and Gay Rannells, husband and wife, who are scientists since Roy discovered how to use Mexican jumping beans in cars for gas. I guess they're really running a jumping business. Fred Townsend, who is now Drake Atlas , the weight lifting champion of the world came with Lonny Pederson, who is Fred's manager and on the side designs chairs to keep you awake while you think. Wally Williams from Washington, D. C. , where he has been accounting for LeRoy Smith, came with his pencils and paper in case the President should want him to do some accounting. Ramon Lara and his wife Carolyn Edwards, came in with a sample of Ramon's latest invention-whiskey flavored tooth-paste. The main reason for his invention was to keep Carolyn happy while she brushes her teeth. Next to arrive was Mike McCormick in his beach togs. He has been combing the beaches for Barbara Bernhard who got mixed in with Richard Hoare's Heidelberg Highjackers. Terry Karp who is now working for Purgitory Inc. , drove up in his black hearse. He had just delivered a few passengers, among them were Albert Richardson, his wife, the former Joyce Van Ars Dale. They had been to the Metropolitan Opera House where Virginia Robinson, who recently married the famous I. M. Offkey, was performing, when she shook loose a chandelier and it fell on them. Terry Karp just informed me that Cecelia Santos is his best assistant in all his undertakings. Charlie Brazil always wanted to be a big time football star. He said that he is working in a fish-packing plant, and every once in awhile he makes a fancy pass with a frozen salmon. Don Yokom reported that he had been kicked out of the Blue Spots orchestra for making stew in the Kettle-drums. Hubert Thompson and his motorcycle are now big stars of the movie reproductions The Wild One. We were wondering if the Air Force had developed a jet car by the noise when Hubert drove up. Terry Dolven, who everyone said would go places with his physical ability, now owns half the town of John Day and peddles around in his 2 cylinder car throwing pennies to the poor people. Rear Admiral Loren Wright has just shocked the naval world by ordering all ships sunk. He says that he could save the U. S. billions by harnessing whales. I hope he doesn't get into my brewery with those kind of ideas in his head. ii

PROPHECY (Con ti n De d) It seems that George Sintay has taken over Nicky Hilton's place as society's No. 1 bad-boy. He has been squiring Hollywood's I-don't- give-a-darn-darling, Janet Loring, to all the biggest affairs, and has her here, now. Oh! shades of Farouk! Maharaja Jim Moulton has just arrived with his twenty-three wives for the big wedding. Next week the maharaja will take Yvonne Pereira, who recently divorced the Aga Khan, into his harem. Walt Grey, the dentist, designed and made himslf a Friday Robot as his manicurist. They fight tooth and nail. Linda Collinsworth's desire for life has led her to be a nurse on one of the largest ocean liners, Queen Mary. Gene Lyman stopped in on his way to tour to Madison Square Garden. Gene, star cowboy of Rock and Roll Rodeo is taking his Starlets with him. Joan Curtis said she is teaching P.E. at Prairie City High School, where she has the State Championship Volleyball Team. Jim Baker, the Wheat King, returned from Kansas where he has been proving to Mr. James A. Baker, ex-American Problems teacher, that other things besides grasshoppers and sand come from Kansas. John Cant came marching in to the tune of the Grant High Beer Song. We later found out that his band is playing in the New York Stork Club. How is your job of modeling now? I noticed your picture in the paper the other day with a bikini bathing suit on. I understand that you had just come in on one of Dennis Smith's model jet planes. I thought it was rather odd that Dennis should make his fortune in planes, since he never could stand to ride in one. Well, I must be closing now because I have another batch done. Love, Donna Prophecy written by Donna Owen, Marie Hendricks, Carolyn Edwards. 12
