fall executive council pres. richard shimomura v.p. pat casey The Fall Term got off to a good start with Orientation Day. The participating Seniors enjoyed the day as much as the Freshmen, and the event was termed a success by all. The following activities proved equally successful. Grant won a decisive victory over arch-rival Jefferson in the annual Student Body Card Contest. The UGN Drive brought forth the same enthusiasm from the Student Body. Highlighting the drive were the reg room drive, the Powder Puff Football Game, and the Beautiful Baby Contest. Grant earned over S1300 and city-wide acclaim for its effort. The Boy's and Girl's Leagues enjoyed a term of fun and participation, too. The Boy's League Golf Tournament and Girl's League Week were enjoyed by many Grantonians. Jointly the leagues ended their term with the Battle of the Sexes. An assembly to honor Mr. Kleiner ended the Fall Executive Council Term, 32
