A Dedication .W Edwards Before Mr. Edwards became an administrator for the Port- land Public Schools Association, he was a member of the Grant High faculty. He held the positions of head of the History depart- ment and Track coach. He is a graduate of Whitman College. He has always been noted for being a man who has seen the humorous side of things. After leaving Grant in 1936, he became Assistant Superin- tendent of the Oregon Administration of Schools. In 1944 he was made Deputy Superintendent, and in 1953 he attained the office of Superintendent of Schools. It is indeed an honor for the Grant High students to have such an outstanding graduate to represent them.
