Seldom do students realize the ext'ent pf Mrs. Schroeder's duties other than those :pecificallyrelatedto her title, Vice Principal n charge of girls. Although such duties as reg- Llating girls' conduct and helping the Girls' ieague are of primary concern, the school ealendar is also a major interest. The sche- uling of activities of the school government, .T.A., clubs, rally squad, assemblies, dances , ,nd Rose Festival is her responsibility. Mrs. Lchroeder starts the year by assigning lockers .nd auditorium seats, enrolling new students, .nd balancing reg. rooms. The year ends with e planning of Baccalaureate and the Journal inner for the seniors. The student body owes . vote of thanks to Mrs. Schroeder for the won- .erful job which she does throughout the year .s Girls' Vice Principal. The duties of Mr. Westcott, Vice Principal in charge of boys , cover awide scope of activities . He begins the school year by enrolling the freshmen and balancing the studyhalls . Through- out the year he is busily engaged in conducting the student activity program and handling the finances ofthe school. Perhaps one of the main duties of this Vice Principal can be found in his work with the boys of Grant, for he supervises their behavior and conduct. In addition to this variety of duties, Mr. Westcott is closely affi- liated with the Service Squad and Dad's Club of Grant. He concludes the term by handling the announcements, cap and gown purchases and graduation tickets for the senior class . Truly Mr. Westcott is a vital asset to the successful operation of Grant, andthe' student body salutes him for a job well done. 13
