DADS' CLUB ' . if I 1 i It 1 A A . . g W L 5 i I. X4 Mr. Ward Cook President The Dad's Club has done much to help our school. Nine jackets were given to the Boy's Octet, and scholarships have been a major project of the Dad's Club. The major letter winner with the highest qrade average will receive a scholarship. Other scholarships are also beinq awarded by them. Money has been donated for a baseball scoreboard and for reforestation of the Tillamook Burn area. Some of the freshmen dads also gave a banquet for the freshman football team. Each year this organization expands their work to make Grant a better place for the students. P. T. A. Mrs. William Padie President The Grant P.T.A., as usual, has been busy this year. Punchbowls and cups were purchased for the school's use. Selling ads for the Memoirs, helping with the Dad's Club Variety Show, selling football jamboree tickets, and sponsoring an advisor training class for clubs have been activities of the P.T.A. Installation of the sundial memorial was an additional job to keep them busy. The P.T.A. has also worked for the chest x-ray and Crusade for Freedom, and helped with a football banquet and centennial by serving, advertising, and costuming. A tour year scholarship for elementary teachers training has also been sponsored by them. The Memoirs Staff thanks the Grant P.T.A, in behalf of the school. 5 t 5 2 Q L
