COLTON MEEK Principal You are about to leave this world that we call U. S. Grant for a far more complex one. Indeed natural, social, political, and economic sciences have become so inextricably mixed that the resultant civilization presents a most confusing pattern. Education for participation in this “Atomic World” is exacting. In order to succeed, one must be skillful, cooperative, creative, and energetic. One must have personal integrity and social wisdom. One must be adaptable. Innumerable positive qualities must be cultivated. Negative qualities may prove most destructive. You have devoted four years of your life to the acquisition of such an education. We the faculty of Grant High School have worked with you to the same end. Ever remember as you leave us that our best wishes accompany you. Your success is our success but it is far more—it is America’s success.
