IN APPRECIATION More qualifications than impersonal efficiency are required of a really successful school office staff. The workers comprising it must be friendly, willing to help, and possess a lively sense of humor. On these scores Grant has been blessed, for each member of our office division is a capable workers and a good friend. No words of commendation are equal to the task of enumerating the services Principal A. F. Bittner performs for the school and the student body, or to express our sincere appreciation for them, and all that he does for us. Miss Helen Barley serves not only as Mr. Bittner's secretary, but as an unofficial adviser and information bureau. Because she is always ready to help, and because she's a good sport. Miss Barley is liked by everyone. Industry, efficiency and cheerful good humor earn for Mrs. Margaret Phillips and Miss Grace Pidcoe, the other two office secretaries, their share of admiration. Under the supervision of Mr. Nottage the Grant Student Body office acts as the school sales agency, stocking used books and school supplies. Student assistants working under Mr. Nottage are Dick Spooner, Jerry Leva, Eleanor King and Leona Olson.
