This yearbook which you are reading was made possible through the work of eleven ambitious, hard-working students who gave of their time and talents, and saw many weeks of effort go out in order to meet a deadline. However, this group did the work with a cheerfulness and great willingness. Meetings of the Tiger Times staff were held every morning at eight, and Monday even- ings were devoted to the planning of this year- book and execution of those plansg thus they spent many hours trying to make this a year- book to remember. BOYD KING Mr. Boyd King, principal of the Grant County Rural High School, has completed his sixth year as principal. He and the members of the Grant County High School Board of Education meet once each month to discuss and solve problems concerning the high school. These school board members are: Cleve W. Stoskopf, Director: Earl B. Williams, Treasurer: and Ralph W. Tuttle, Clerk. The administration has the task of co-ordinating the academic and social activities of Grant County Rural High into an efficiently well- run school. In recentyears, thesernen.have hadthe added burden of extra meetings involved in the planning of the new high school building, and in the remodeling of the old building. The administration and faculty worked many weeks and months preparing data so that our school could be accepted by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, Although it was not known until the spring of 1954 whether or not the school would be accepted into this association, these people put a great deal of time and effort into getting accepted into the organization.
