A community activity of the organization is preparing a Christmas basket and giving it to a needy family in the county. This year we sent six delegates to Youth Assembly, which was held in Frankfort. Many of the members stayed after school for the picnic and it was a great success. Having enjoyed this year very much, we hope to be better Tri-Hi-Y members next year. The purpose of Tri-Hi-Y is: To create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, the school, and the community, high standards of Christian character. As members of the club, we strive to fulfill the purpose, thus becoming better members of the community. The Library Club, open to all high school girls, consists of seventy-six members, and is sponsored by Mrs. Virginia Cull, the school librarian. Activities of the organization include: arranging attractive displays on the bulletin board in the library, and helping the librarian in the checking out of books.
