if I was really excited about the Varsity football team this year. They showed a lot of spirit, power, and promise. I knew we would come out on top. Halfway through the season, the newspapers changed their tune when they saw us capturing victories , instead of being at the bottom of the pile. We slipslided our way through rain, mud, and cold to a championship tie with Warren and Stevenson. I'm really proud of our Varsity team. They deserve a great deal of credit and congratulations for their outstanding efforts. The Sophomore team showed amazing talent as they were faced with injuries to several starters. With great- effort they ended the season with the second place title. The Freshmen showed support and unity ending the season with the third place title.
