i 1 6 1 w 1 l joined G.A.A. because I Wanted some extra exercise, and I soon discovered that we had a lot of fun there. Besides staying in the gym once a week, we went rollerskating, iceskating, swimming, and bowling. We also Went on a picnic, al though the weather Wasn't too good. Along with the good memories, some of us will also remember getting egged, getting our feet flushed, and earning pennies .

The first semester was all on a voluntary basis. Then, when second semester came, the Journalism II class took over. In the Lake County area the school papers joined together and formed L.C.S.P.A. fLake County Student Press Assoc.J The purpose of L.C.S.P.A. is to improve all the papers in the area.

Our regular 4c meetings were usually not too thrilling, but sometimes we had special activities to take care of. We arranged the Homecoming Dance and the Christmas Formal. For Valentine's Day we helped the students show their friendship by selling flowers . We also raised money for Muscular Dystrophy. All in all, it was a busy year . Young, K. Bowen, D.
