That same day, I hung around the A Cappella room a little while longer. The next group to sing was a much smaller one, consisting of only girls. They, with their sopra- no voices, also sang a variety of classical songs . I was told later that these high pitched voices made up the Girls' Cho- rus . MUSIC

MUSIC As I walked down the 5 , p t . t . math hall one day, I heard 1 f I f C' A A it A r a beautiful sound. I looked ' in Mr. Baron's room, then S Mrs. Decker's, and then I Mr. Smith's to find the source of this sound. As I left Mr. Smith's room, I headed for the two brown doors at the end of the hall. When I opened the first door, the sound be- gan to grow in volume. I knew then that I was get- ting close. And to my sur- prise, as I opened the second door, there in a large room stood a mass of vocal musicians, the A Cappella Choir. Mrs. VanSlochteren greeted me and invited me in to listen. To my surprise, I walked into the music department one dayg and saw two very active groups practicing. Eight girls and eight guys were singing and dancing to marvelous tunes. The outfits and smiles they wore made them look very impressive to me. The other group was the Stage Band. They played a more modern style of song.
