B Mr. Rowden. been scared, well at least INDUSTRIAL ARTS was a little scary at first, with all those ma- chines . I finally learned to operate most of them though, so now I'll be able to remodel my dog house. One thing I noticed safety glasses sure weren't designed for pug noses . A. Boy, those kids just zoom around like they're in a smash-up derby. As time passed, I learned all the fundamen- tal skills of driving and how to hit the brake in- stead of the gas so I won't end up in the dog house!

10 i l I think that some people have to be su- per brains to get through SCIENCE. I've heard a couple of Chemistry students complaining about moles and I didn't even know what they were talking about. I did make friends with the skeleton in Biology but I think that friendship will be rather one-sided. W JA, A, , ,. 31, ,. 1. 15 C. I sniffed my way down to the HOME EC department the first day of school. Some nice girls helped me make a warm winter coat. They also shared lots and lots of their goodies with me. Funny thing, by the time winter came my new coat seemed to have shrunk. I think it's great that Grant has a special department for kids with spe- cial needs. The SPECIAL ED students take some regular classes, but they also have many different activities of their own. '?p+5T ' C. Mrs. Rubenstein Mis. Gardell, Mrs. Weissman, Mr. Bo- dine. 1 ff i . .. M.
