SIC DEPARTMENT Rooms for the band and chorus are provided in the new building, They are located on the second tloor where the band overlooks the gymnasium, During the basketball season, the bond will be able to provide encouraging music for the players, tor a folding door can be opened to allow the band to be heard. Also on the second floor are several private practice rooms, an otf,ce for the music department and a separate choral roam. Although the music deoartment seems isolated tram the rest at the people in school, those concerned with making music like their new quarters. ADVANCED Electricity and metal shop are the other two new depart- ments opened in shop this year. Here, Gerd Klausmeyer, on ad- vanced student, is demon- strating a lesson in dadoving for a beginning wood class. All new equipment for the metals and electricity had to be provided. Here you see the classes making use of their equipment.
