Page Seventy LIBRARY Grant s new library was opened to the students in January A beau tiful photo mural in natural color greets the visitor as he enters the library This photomural which captures the beauty of Fox Lake as seen from the State Conservation School was purchased for the school by the Parent Teacher Association The main reading room is gained by a three step des cent below the main hall where the fiction books magazines and news fifty Three conference rooms also provide additional seating space for twenty five more An interesting feature which the fellows at Grant have discovered to their delight is the leisure reading center furnished with easy chairs The classified subject matter materials are conveniently ar ranged around the walls of one of the conference rooms while all the general reference works are located in the third room used only for a reference room A large charging desk is conveniently located near the entrance Miss Kraus the librarian and a staff of student librarians operate the library during the day as well as before and after school hours .
