They were eager to get an education, and they began to make a showing in school activities. The sophomore year the class numbered 55. By this time they were old hands as far as school was concerned, and they were beginning to enjoy the social part of high school. Tragedy struck before the junior year began. The school house burned and classes had to be scattered over the town. The class lost two and gained one mak- ing a total of 54 in the class. This was the big year because the juniors had to plan and give the banquet for the seniors. The last year found the number down to 40. Fourteen classmates were lost and all were missed. The class is planning for the last days of school and is try- ing to prepare for what the future holds.
