CLASS HI TORY The first of September 1950 a group of forty-eight Freshmen were caught up by the whirling crystal ball of high school adventures and we began slowly to make our own place in the history of G. C. H. S. To us each event was full of importance from the day of iniation to the Freshman - Sophomore party. In our Sophomore year the crystal ball seemed to gain momentum as our interests were aroused more by extra-curricular activities and we began to find our own places in high school life. Last year, our Junior year, we were so busy earning money and taking important parts in school affairs that we scarcely noticed the great crystal ball swirling faster. During this year we presented our first play, Peck's Bad Boy and thus established ourselves as actors. We gave the Seniors of last year an unforgettable Junior - Senior Banquet and Prom -- our theme was Stardust . At last we were fulfilling some of our dreams. The crystall ball rolls on and we find ourselves the Senior class of 1953-1954. This year the members of our class have held leading roles in many major activities from Band and Pep Squad to all Sports. For our playthis year Mother Mine was presented. We are looking forward to Graduation--the climax of our high school adventures--when the crystal ball will come to a standstill just long enough for the Seniors of '54 to receive their diplomas and awards of serviceg then the crystal ball shall hurry onward--taking us on through life. .x ,, ff' ' 5 I 5 -I V 5-Q1 -f 4 'ffl fwgs-La' if W? ,gt QS, 1 -e ,, , :fs 1. ,N-'Y 5 5, ' iff 4 rf M . 4 as N 5 I ,flu ,r A 'ff' -.
