l Ol.l ii? E.S.P. affectionately known as Early September Programming has been in effect at Granite Hills for the past 3 years. The students find this method easier than the method of registration used in the past. They are able to pick the periods and the teachers of their choice, for each of their classes, with the E.S.P. method. E.S.P. begins on the first of Sep- tember. The students proceed into the gymnasium to listen to a coun- selor explain the system. The stu- dents then pick up their l.B.M. cards and go to the teachers they have selected. Afterwards, the students get their programs approved and purchase items they will need when school begins. On the whole, E.S. P, has been both helpful and worth- while for the teachers, the students. and the administration. I. Mrs. Miller and Mrs, Karr discuss art techniques during li.S.P. 2. Mr. Morell directs traffic while ESP. is in action. 3. Mr. Decker awaits the arrival of the stu- dents who will enroll in his classes. 4. After students choose their classes, they fill out cards to show their new schedule. 5. Mr. Marquand explains the process of E.S,P. to interested students, 6. Mrs. Ryder helps a student to work out his schedule. 7. Teresa Casler amuses herself with chewing gum at E.S.P, 8. Discussion of classes and teachers dominates many students conversation during ESP.
