LOTTE OUR FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT Dear all students of Granite Hills, I am Lotte Kiaer, the foreign exchange student from Denmark. I am very happy to be able to attend your high school and to know American teenagers. When I came over here I was afraid that the American and Danish people and the way of living in U.S.A. and Denmark were too much like each other and that you therefore not was interesting in my country. But it was my foolish worrying. I know now that our countries and our way of living are extremely different. I have learned to know your country, your people, your way of living, thinking and talking, and I love itl I am a great admirer of the American people, and I know that when I go home I always will look at America as my second adopted country. . Many students ask me, How is Denmark? , and I have told them that it is a little green and flat country and that is true. I wish you all could come and visit my country.
